Floris Hovers (1976) lives and works in Raamsdonk (NL), the little town he grew up in. He studied supplied arts at the Design Academy Eindhoven where he graduated in 2004. Since 2006 he runs his own studio.
Designer and artist Floris Hovers created various colorfull and playfull designs in the last 14 years of his studio. Hovers strives for work that is not complex but simply makes you smile and surprises you in a playfull way.
For the Spoinq collection he designed an iconic lamp and a table where he focussed on the bending of steel and construction. The collection will also hold a chair and a bench in the near future.
